Simply Giving has officially launched for 2012. We are keener then ever to help even more children this festive season and bring smiles to kids across the nation!

We are excited by various developments on our site this year:

1.) You will notice that not only are we tracking dollars donated but also the number of children that will receive a gift. We have allowed charities to set specific targets for this figure and have progress indicators on their specific sites showing how much acheived and how much to go!

2.) Our social marketing and share facilities on the site have been dramatically improved. All pages can be shared on Facebook, Twitter and via email. At the end of the checkout process the donor will also have the option to share the details of their donation with friends and family. We hope these tools will be powerful in spreading the word and increasing donations.

3.) We also have the ability to proudly display those companies that are participating in Simply Giving. Check out the bottom of the front page.
